DevOps and Tools Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will enable and optimize the DevOps toolchain to support global development teams. You will drive Agile planning, CI/CD, and automation across cloud and data-center environments. You'll collaborate with DevOps, Application Development, and other departments to enforce processes and reliability. This position offers hands-on tooling work, on-call support, and a chance to influence architecture alignment with long‑term goals. You will shape scalable, secure, and observable platforms that enable rapid, compliant software delivery.

• Define processes, tools, and roadmaps for connecting current designs to long-term architecture with monitoring
• Configure and support cloud-based Atlassian tools to improve development efficiency and tool stability
• Develop tooling and processes to automate development and enforce security and audit controls
• Integrate additional tools/frameworks to support Agile at scale
• Promote use of DevOps tools across Technology groups
• Implement strategies to improve DevOps processes and tooling
• Monitor system availability and performance within SLAs
• Handle incidents and root cause analysis, and provide on-call/2nd shift support Tasks
• 4+ years in DevOps tools (Github, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, Terraform, AppDynamics, Splunk or equivalent)
• Experience administering Ansible Tower or Ansible Automation Platform
• Scripting in Shell, Groovy, Python, PowerShell, or similar
• Experience with private data center/cloud and public cloud platforms (Azure, Google, AWS)
• Administration of Jira/Confluence
• 3+ years Dockerfile, containerization with Kubernetes or Docker runtime
• 3+ years relational DB (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) or MongoDB
• Knowledge of containerization, performance, security, availability, monitoring and support
• Ability to train teams on DevOps tools and manage enterprise apps development
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred Key requirements
