Job Description

About the Role
  • The Developer Experience (DevEx) team is responsible for providing enterprise technical standards and common technical services, platforms, and tools that are utilized by delivery teams across various lines of business.
The role involves le ading the solution design of these services, platforms, and tools, with a focus on improving the developer experience, advancing technology platforms, and reducing risk while improving quality through a unified enterprise architecture strategy.
  • Responsibilities
  • Enhance the developer experience to facilitate the delivery of industry-lea ding solutions efficiently and with appropriate controls.
  • Innovate and advance technology platforms.
  • Align with a single enterprise architecture strategy to reduce risk and improve quality.
  • Participate in project meetings, understand requirements, and design and develop solutions.
  • Collaborate with near shore and offshore teammates in a matrix environment.
  • Manage multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment.
  • Deliver projects in an agile environment with a proven track record.
  • Communicate effectively across technology, business, and lea dership areas.
  • Education Qualification
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Required Skills
  • Extensive experience in designing solutions across various software development platforms and environments, including Linux, Windows, Java, .Net, Python, Javascript, and more.
  • Technical expertise in DevOps automation and enablement technologies such as Jenkins, Ansible/Tower, Jira, Git/Bitbucket, Artifactory, SonarQube, GitHub, and GitHub actions.
  • Experience in designing and developing complex, integrated, high-volume applications for resiliency and performance.
  • Knowledge of security aspects of integrated system design and associated protocols.
  • Ability to perform hands-on proof of concept work to assess technology and patterns.
  • Strong technical lea dership skills with minimal oversight, including prioritizing work and meeting dea dlines.
  • Ability to provide clear technical guidance to delivery partners and communicate status to program management.
  • Process expertise across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Desired Skills
  • Experience with microservices/SOA enabling tools such as API Management, Kubernetes/Docker, and service gateway/meshes.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, routines, and tools.
