You should have strong experience with the following: .NET development (with C# and related .NET technologies)
ASP.NET MVC
experience
SQL skills, including writing SQL functions
Performance tuning experience
Oracle DB experience or
Mainframe experience
RESTful API development and experience building microservices architectures
Java / JavaScript / TypeScript exposure (as part of delivering full-stack solutions)
Frontend development experience with Angular, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript
Backend/service experience using SOAP and JSON
Agile environment experience
CI/CD and test automation mindset, including TDD experience (TDD and automating regression testing are pluses-see below)
Collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively
Data mining skills and comfort working with data-driven systems Nice to Have Skills
If you also have experience in any of these, it will be a strong advantage: TDD and automating regression testing
Containerization and AWS exposure
AWS Cloud Certified
log4net / logback experience
uDeploy, Jenkins (including Jenkins Core)
NodeJS, npm, Gulp, Grunt, Maven, Groovy
Apache Tomcat and IIS experience
Financial brokerage knowledge
Familiarity with GenAI tools (e.g., Copilot) for developer productivity
Familiarity with distributed database technologies (e.g., CockroachDB) and basic understanding of distributed data architecture, replication strategies, consistency models, and high-availability design principles
