Duration:
6-month contract
Key Responsibilities:
Refactor and optimize existing Python code for scalability, modularity, and maintainability. Implement software engineering best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and DevOps principles. Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality Python solutions. Work on large-scale projects, ensuring robust architecture and performance improvements. Utilize libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and PySpark for data processing and modeling.
Required Qualifications:
Expert-level proficiency in Python, including algorithms and advanced programming concepts. Strong background in software engineering and experience with large, complex projects. Hands-on experience with CI/CD, unit testing (Pytest or similar), and DevOps practices. Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, and PySpark.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Databricks or Palantir. Background in Finance or FinTech environments. Ability to demonstrate practical experience through examples of challenging projects and solutions. Equal Opportunity Employer
