The F-35 Sensor Fusion team is seeking an emerging Software Architect to join our team in developing the next generation of sensor fusion software. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, modeling, analyzing, and testing fusion software and architecture as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions into Fusion applications. Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience in a customer-facing, Product Owner or Scrum Master role operating on an AGILE delivery cadence
  • Experience with C++, C#, OOP, OOD, Design Patterns, Clean Architecture, and Test Driven Development
  • Prior Real Time Operating System (RTOS) and embedded systems development experience including managing concurrencies, threads, scheduling, semaphores, and queues/buffers
  • (Windows & Linux)
Desired Skills:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Demonstrated architectural experience working in large codebases, service-based architectures, microservices, and/or component-based architectures
  • Experience with Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) such as
UCI, FACE, VICTORY, AMS
GRA, etc
  • Experience with RHEL8, VCPKG or Conan, CMake, GITLAB
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
