Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a TS/SCI-cleared Software Developer to support the design, development, and deployment of secure, cloud-native applications in AWS GovCloud environments. This individual will work closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and mission teams to modernize legacy systems, build scalable solutions, and support ongoing cloud migration efforts. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and is 5 days/week on site in Charlottesville, VA. Relocation packages are available!
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy secure cloud-native applications and REST APIs in AWS GovCloud
  • Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated security scanning
  • Containerize applications using Docker and support Kubernetes environments
  • Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities across applications and pipelines

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • 4+ years of software development experience in a DoD or federal environment
  • Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks (React, Angular, Node/Express)
  • Hands-on experience with AWS (GovCloud preferred) and
REST API
development
  • Experience with Terraform (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Understanding of secure coding practices and DevSecOps principles
