Job Description

HART Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled C++ developer to join our high-impact Tactical Systems team. our work will be dedicated to design of high-stakes tactical systems where performance and reliability are critical to success. Why This Role? Build mission-critical, low-latency Modern C++ software on Linux platforms. Contribute to network-distributed, hardware-in-the-loop platforms for use in tactical systems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy C++ applications for real-time tactical environments. Implement network-synchronization layers for distributed systems. Support the full software life-cycle from architecture design through onsite integration on platforms. Partner with subject-matter experts to translate system requirements into reliable code. Work with a robust multi-disciplinary team to develop and integrate hardware and software systems. Technical Requirements A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline. 3+ years professional experience with modern C++ and the Standard Library (ie. maps, threading, iterators, etc). Linux development proficiency (kernel, build systems, debugging). US citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. Desired Skills Experience building software for networked or embedded environments. Ability to work with Python, Lua, or other scripting languages as needed. Experience with tactical control systems or hardware-in-the-loop testing. Familiarity with Agile and Jira & Git. Active DoD clearance is a plus.
