In-Person Job Summary Rockwoods is seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to lead the technical vision, architecture, governance, and integration strategy across a complex Salesforce ecosystem. This role will serve as the primary technical authority responsible for designing scalable enterprise solutions spanning Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, and Agentforce while ensuring alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess deep Salesforce architecture expertise combined with strong MuleSoft integration experience and the ability to bridge business requirements with enterprise technology solutions. Key Responsibilities Salesforce Architecture & Strategy Own the overall technical vision and architecture of the Salesforce platform. Design scalable enterprise solutions across Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, and Agentforce. Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical blueprints. Define architecture standards, governance frameworks, and platform guardrails. Review and approve solution designs created by developers and administrators. Drive platform scalability, performance optimization, and technical debt management. Mentor Salesforce developers, administrators, and technical teams. Lead the design and governance of Agentforce and Einstein AI solutions, including defining AI adoption frameworks and use-case prioritization. Enterprise Integration Architecture Design Salesforce integrations with external systems including ERP platforms, banking applications, third-party systems, and enterprise APIs. Define enterprise integration patterns and API strategies. Establish API governance and lifecycle management standards. Lead architecture decisions for data exchange, synchronization, security, and performance. MuleSoft Solution Architecture Design and document enterprise integration architectures using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. Define integration patterns, data mappings, and error-handling frameworks. Translate business requirements into technical integration specifications. Lead the development and implementation of MuleSoft APIs, Mule Flows, and connectors. Develop RAML definitions and API specifications. Deploy and manage solutions on CloudHub. Monitor and maintain API performance, reliability, and scalability. Minimum 3+ years of hands-on MuleSoft architecture and integration delivery experience required — design oversight alone does not meet this bar. DevOps, Governance & Release Management Establish CI/CD standards and deployment strategies. Define release management and environment governance processes. Ensure architecture compliance, platform health, and operational excellence. Implement best practices for version control, automated deployments, and quality assurance. Required Technical Expertise Apex Development Apex Classes, Interfaces, Triggers, Collections, and Control Flow SOQL and SOSL — Aggregate Functions and Dynamic Queries DML Operations (Insert, Update, Upsert, Delete, Undelete) Governor Limits Management Trigger Framework Design and Bulkification Trigger Context Variables Async Apex (Batch Apex, Queueable, Future Methods, Scheduled Apex) Exception Handling and Rollback Strategies Security Implementation (CRUD, FLS, Sharing) Salesforce Platform Expertise Marketing Cloud Experience Cloud Data Cloud Agentforce Salesforce Security Model Enterprise Data Architecture API Integrations Event-Driven Architecture Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) MuleSoft Technical Expertise MuleSoft Anypoint Platform API-Led Connectivity RAML CloudHub API Management Mule ESB Java, XML, JSON REST APIs & SOAP Services Enterprise Integration Architecture (EAI) Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) Required Qualifications 10+ years of Salesforce experience with at least 3+ years in an Architect role. Extensive experience across multiple Salesforce Clouds. Strong MuleSoft Architecture and Integration experience — minimum 3 years hands-on delivery. Proven experience designing enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions. Expertise in API strategy, integration architecture, and data governance. Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills. Experience leading technical teams and architecture governance initiatives. Experience establishing CI/CD, release management, and deployment strategies.
