Working alongside government and industry engineers, you will help develop and modernize geospatial, intelligence, data, and cloud-enabled capabilities that directly support national security missions. As part of NGA's DevCorps engineering ecosystem, you will contribute to the design, development, deployment, and sustainment of enterprise applications while tackling complex challenges in cloud computing, DevSecOps, automation, geospatial technologies, and large-scale data processing. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy, and sustain mission-critical software applications Build modern web applications, APIs, and microservices architectures Develop cloud-native solutions supporting enterprise-scale geospatial and intelligence missions Collaborate with Product Owners, Government Technical Leads, and Agile development teams to deliver user-focused capabilities Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through deployment and sustainment Contribute to DevSecOps pipelines and Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes Implement automated testing, test-driven development, and software quality assurance practices Integrate software with enterprise services, data repositories, APIs, and cloud platforms Support modernization efforts involving legacy systems, emerging technologies, and cloud migration initiatives Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and demonstrations Develop technical documentation, system requirements, and user-facing materials as required Required qualifications Active TS/SCI clearance U.S. Citizenship Experience developing software using Java, Python, JavaScript, or comparable modern programming languages Experience with full software development lifecycle activities Experience developing RESTful APIs and service-based architectures Experience with relational databases and data modeling Experience working in Agile software development environments Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, or DevSecOps practices Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
