Solution Design :

Create robust solution architectures (e.g., VDI, Azure deployments, router/firewall setups) that meet client needs, integrate with existing systems, and support scalability.

Risk Management :

Identify and mitigate risks in solution designs and implementations to ensure client stability.

Solution Implementation :

Deploy complex solutions—server migrations, 365/Google migrations, infrastructure redesigns—with precision, understanding their impact on client operations.

Project Management :

Self-manage projects from scoping to completion, setting client expectations, managing timelines, and resolving obstacles without a dedicated project manager.

Support Escalations :

Act as the final escalation tier, resolving advanced technical issues with a limited role, supporting the team when needed.

Technical Leadership :

Guide the team on standards and innovations, leveraging skills in networking, virtualization, and cloud technologies.

Time Capture :

Track your time in our Professional Services Automation (PSA) software to optimize client impact analysis.

Client Collaboration :

Partner with clients to align solutions with business goals, providing training and maintaining a customer-first approach rooted in Vermont values.

Team Collaboration :

Work with departments to ensure cohesive service delivery and support escalations.

Continuous Learning :

Stay current on industry trends (e.g., VDI, Azure) to enhance recommendations and implementations.

Documentation :

Maintain detailed records of projects and processes, improving documentation for team efficiency.

Automation Identification :

Spot and, where feasible, develop automation for routine tasks.

Process Improvement :

Contribute to best practices within the professional services team.

Other Tasks :

Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Requirements Candidates should demonstrate advanced technical proficiency, supported by a combination of education, certifications, and work experience. A minimum of five years in IT support or professional services, including Active Directory environments, is required. Among other criteria, the following requirements will be evaluated: Proven expertise in solution design and deployment, including VDI (e.g., Omnissa Horizon), server migrations, 365/Google migrations, Azure, and networking (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls). Strong project management skills to self-lead complex implementations without a project manager. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate technical challenges. Ability to simplify complex concepts for clients and coordinate effectively with teams. Experience with Professional Services Automation (PSA), Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM), and ticketing systems. Reliable transportation for occasional on-site visits, with potential for remote work discussions. Personal background check required prior to employment.
