Infrastructure Support Specialist Job ID 134949 Job Type Contract Industry Nuclear Pay Rate $21 - $44 an hour Location Richland, Washington, United States Talascend is currently seeking an Infrastructure Support Specialist for a contract opportunity with our client in Richland, Washington. Overview This position involves supporting the Office and Administrative Services infrastructure team with various software and work processes related to document control and records management, including SharePoint and PowerApps support. The role requires handling complex software landscapes, troubleshooting, and providing interdepartmental support. Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and monitor work within a limited time horizon using applicable methods and tools effectively Respond to customer needs, questions, and concerns in an accurate, effective, and timely manner Perform tasks utilizing established records and information management standards and methods Support the conversion from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online, developing, maintaining, and supporting SharePoint sites Support the transition from current eforms platform to Microsoft PowerApps, developing and maintaining PowerApps eforms Provide interdepartmental customer support for office applications Troubleshoot data anomalies and report discrepancies Produce reports using MS Excel and Word Assist in data assembly and process development Interface routinely with project personnel, providing support and responding to questions Stay current with relevant technologies and recommend work process improvements Adjust priorities as directed Operate standard office equipment and automation tools Work overtime on short notice as needed Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related business field and 1 year of related experience or a high school diploma and 7 years of related experience Must possess the right to work and stay in the United States without visa sponsorship Ability to complete pre-employment screening, including drug test, physical (if at construction site), and background check Ability to obtain a Department of Energy badge for access to the Hanford Site Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Flexibility, positive attitude, and effective collaboration skills Ability to work independently and in teams Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills Excellent attention to detail and effective communication skills Self-motivated with good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Willingness to learn new processes and software Ability to follow established quality methods and procedures Preferred Qualifications Experience in extracting reports and performing queries in databases Experience with workflow and form development Experience with Power Platform applications and development Experience in AI training and application development Knowledge of user interface and user experience principles Some experience with SQL, HTML, and
ASP .NET
