Job Description

Job Description At Alaska Airlines, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Identity & Access Management team. This role is crucial in ensuring the security and efficiency of our systems as we continue to innovate and improve our services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, particularly in identity and access management solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement secure and scalable solutions that meet the needs of our organization.
Your Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement identity and access management solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Ensure the security and compliance of our systems by implementing best practices and standards. Monitor and troubleshoot identity and access management systems to ensure optimal performance. Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to identity and access management. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes. Document technical designs, processes, and procedures.
Your Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on identity and access management. Strong knowledge of identity management protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect). Experience with cloud-based identity solutions (e.g., Azure
AD, AWS IAM
). Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
