DevOps Engineer - Hybrid#26-05695 Brookfield, WI Hybrid Right to Hire Starts 6/22/2026 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer - Hybrid position with a Regional Financial Institution located in Milwaukee, WI. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. Pay range: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour, W2 The DevOps Engineer is a key technical resource responsible for managing the operations of solution development. This role will research, rmend, design, and implement new technologies, working with a wide range of technology teams to ensure environments are stable, highly available, and fault tolerant. This role will be involved in cloud migrations and building automations to support cloud growth.
Responsibilities:
Work with a cross functional team to plan, deploy, and maintain solutions in all environments (on-prem and cloud) Advise and ensure appropriate security controls are in place for all assigned solutions Create and maintain automated release management processes and provide production support (e.g., Blue/Green deployment) Define and deploy application metrics and monitoring tools Create documentation per project and organization standards Lead cross training efforts with teams to increase automation maturity within IT Collaborate with the development team and other IT teams (e.g. security and infrastructure) to validate requirements and technical capabilities Participate in defining development processes and tools Provide clear and timelymunication on issues, risks, and changes to the development team leadership
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related technical field and 5+ years, or 7+ years of experience working in a highly automated software engineering environment 3+ years of experience writing code in an object oriented, functional, or scripting language 2+ years of experience implementing and maintaining an orchestrated container environment (Kubernetes, Docker, and SUSE Enterprise Linux preferred) 1+ years creating CI/CD pipelines, preferably within Azure DevOps 1+ years of experience setting up and maintaining web servers (e.g., IIS, NGINX) 1+ year of creating automated environment deployment processes with tools such as Terraform Experience with Azure Cloud Experience implementing processes and tools to connect, secure, and monitor a service-oriented environment (e.g., service mesh) Experience implementing application security best practices into automated solutions Solid analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills with a passion for automation Strongmunication skills, both written and verbal Experience working in an iterative delivery process Desired skills: Cloudflare Cloud application/environment monitoring Azure Application Services Azure Service Bus RabbitMQ Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
