Job Description

AmeriLux Family of Companies is seeking a talented Software Developer to join our dynamic technology team. As a Software Developer at AmeriLux, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining innovative software solutions that support our business operations and growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborating with management, departments, and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications. Designing algorithms and flowcharts to create new software programs and systems. Producing efficient and elegant code based on organizational requirements. Testing and deploying programs and applications. Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining, and improving existing software. Compiling and assessing user feedback to improve software performance. Observing user feedback to recommend improvements to existing software products. Developing technical documentation to guide future software development projects. • Potential to lead the existing software development team. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience is preferred. Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript. Experience with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment. Familiarity with databases, version control systems, and cloud platforms is a plus.
