About the Role We are hiring an Applications Engineer to support customers with injection mold design reviews, component selection, and engineering analysis, as well as product design and development for company products. This role includes working with 2D AutoCAD drawings and 3D CAD models (STEP, Parasolid, etc.) .
M-F:
40 hours per week. 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, ½-hour lunch. Overtime as needed. Bonus available. What You'll Do Review customer mold designs (2D and 3D) Perform force, pressure, and sizing calculations Modify and maintain 2D AutoCAD drawings Review 3D CAD files (STEP, x_t/Parasolid) using CAD viewing tools Create drawings for custom applications Support quoting and technical recommendations Work directly with customers and internal teams Perform engineering calculations and design for company products Design company products and develop testing and assembly procedures Direct testing and evaluation of new product designs Requirements Mechanical Engineering BS or similar 4-year engineering degree Experience in Injection molding OR Tooling/mold design OR Applications engineering AutoCAD proficiency (2D) Experience working with 3D CAD data (STEP, Parasolid, or similar) Strong analytical skills Knowledge of GD&T standards for precise mechanical drawings and specifications Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems desired
Pay:
$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
