RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE CLOUD SOFTWARE AND SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT

Define end-to-end architecture for cloud-hosted applications across AWS and Azure, ensuring scalability, security, and cost efficiency Design reference architectures and standards for microservices, serverless, data platforms, and integration workloads Lead selection and adoption of core platform services including compute, storage, networking, observability, and CI/CD tooling Architect shared platform capabilities such as landing zones, internal developer platforms, and golden paths Partner with security teams to embed security-by-design principles including identity management, encryption, and compliance controls Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams while evangelizing cloud-native best practices

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE FOR THE CLOUD SOFTWARE AND SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT

8+ years in software engineering, infrastructure, or DevOps with 3-5+ years in cloud architecture roles Deep hands-on expertise with AWS or Azure, including advanced knowledge of core services Strong background designing cloud-native applications using microservices, containers, and serverless architectures Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM/Bicep, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines Solid understanding of data platforms, API design, event-driven architectures, and integration patterns Professional cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) strongly preferred Timing is everything.
