AKS Engineer

Strong hands on experience with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), including cluster configuration, scaling, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation; ability to build reusable scripts and tooling. Solid understanding of Helm charts, templating, packaging, and release workflows. Working knowledge of DevOps concepts, including CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, infrastructure as code, and container lifecycle management. Experience with Docker, container registries, and Kubernetes networking fundamentals. Familiarity with Azure services commonly used alongside AKS (Azure Monitor, Key Vault, ACR, VNet, etc.). Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across team Roles & Responsibilities Manage, operate, and troubleshoot Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) clusters across multiple environments. Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell (and/or other scripting languages) to streamline deployment, configuration, and operational tasks. Create, update, and maintain Helm charts for application deployments and platform components. Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate AKS workloads into CI/CD pipelines and follow infrastructure as code best practices. Monitor cluster health, performance, and cost efficiency; implement improvements where needed. Support containerized application deployments, including image management, networking, and security configurations.
