We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our team supporting the Medusa Program\.

Responsibilities:

Plans, conducts, and coordinates firmware/software development and HW/SW integration activities\. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs firmware/software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment\. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle\. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software\. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls\. Ensures software standards are met\. A Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position\.

• Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with mid to large scale system or software development program
• Experienced in software development using a modern programming language \(e\.g\., C\+\+, Java\)\.
• Experience with embedded software development

• Desired Skills:

• Experience with HW/SW integration
• Experience with flight software systems
• Security\+ certification
• Experience with Agile software development

• Security Clearance Statement:

• Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

• Pay Rate:

• The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York \(excluding most major metropolitan areas\), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $157,800
• $278,185\.

• The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $181,400
• $314,525\.
