This position is for a Software Manager supporting the LRHW program. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work both independently and in team environments, and to interface with software developers, test engineers, system engineers, program management, quality assurance engineers, and customer representatives.
Basic Qualifications:
Technical background in Software Engineering. Demonstrated leadership skills and behaviors that align with the Full Spectrum Leadership Imperatives. Experience with planning and coordinating software development activities in a team-oriented environment. Knowledgeable in formal Software Engineering Process and Tools, including experience in executing in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Experience in leading technical meetings and independent software code reviews for software development efforts. Experience presenting to program leadership and to the customer in formal reviews and meetings. Willingness to learn cost account management principles, techniques, and processes. Final Secret Clearance is required prior to start; US citizenship is required.
Desired Skills:
Experience in Planning - Staff, SW Dev tools, and maintaining Software Development Plans (SDP). Experience supporting technical performance of the project through control activities including reviews, metric data collection, identifying corrective actions and ensuring implementation.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
