Position Summary As the Software Development Manager at LCPtracker, you will oversee the design and development of software applications. You will manage team members, comprising of both internal and outsourced engineers and testers, ensuring adherence to best practices in software development. This role will be outcome-focused, being a servant leader to ensure the successful delivery of features. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Lead multiple teams of Software Engineers and testers. Own the engineering vision of your teams, contributing to the overall product vision. Collaborate with other managers and software architects to define the technology roadmap. Promote coding standards, code reviews and best practices with a focus on quality, maintainability, and security. Drive a hardworking and well-balanced team culture. Coach engineers and help them achieve professional career goals. Perform other work including specific tasks or special projects as required. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and use discretion when needed.

Supports team growth, promotes a healthy engineering culture, and empowers individuals to succeed. Work Environment This position performs its duties from our Orange, CA office. This position operates in a professional office environment and role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, mobile devices, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Requirements While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; frequently required to talk and hear, use hands and fingers to type, scroll and use computer equipment. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection of text/data in both print and electronic forms. Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time non-exempt position. Days/hours worked are dependent on the workload at the time. General availability and presence in the office is expected during regular business hours Monday-Friday. However, some flexibility is allowed. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel There is no major travel requirement for this position. However, infrequent travel may be necessary to visit remote office(s), attend conferences/industry events, etc. Attendance at our corporate Staff Retreat is required. This event is a 2-3-day retreat. Attendance at our annual User Conference as assigned. Salary Range The salary range is $140,000.00-$160,000.00 annually. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 8+ years of experience working on SaaS products. 8+ years of programming experience with at least one Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) language. 3+ years of experience leading multiple engineering teams. Experience in managing outsourced engineers is advantageous. Familiarity with cloud technologies is a plus. Proficient in business writing and composition, with a strong command of the English language. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines. Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills, capable of effectively prioritizing and organizing workload. Experience working in Scrum teams with a deep understanding of Agile methodology. Scrum certifications are a plus.
