Job Description

Responsibilities Lead and mentor a small team of embedded software engineers and systems developers. Stay hands-on with embedded software design, development, code reviews, and architecture discussions. Guide software projects from concept through release. Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, product, and business stakeholders. Help define technical direction for current and future software platforms. Improve development processes, coding standards, documentation, and release practices. Support project planning, prioritization, scheduling, and team performance. Ensure software quality, reliability, maintainability, and scalability. Required Skills & Experience 10+ years of embedded software development experience. Strong hands-on C++ development background. Recent C++ experience in a production environment. Experience with embedded Linux and/or Windows-based systems. Prior leadership experience as a manager, team lead, technical lead, or project lead. Experience leading small engineering teams or mentoring software developers. Strong knowledge of full software development lifecycle. Experience with source control, issue tracking, build, and release tools. Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Preferred Skills Experience with Git, Jenkins, Jira, Agile, or CI/CD environments. Experience supporting product development from concept through commercialization. Background working with hardware/software integration teams. Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Master s degree in a related technical field.
