at Insight Global in Rosemont, Illinois, United States Job Description Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Manager, AI-Native Software Engineering for a top legal/fintech technology client. This candidate will lead a high-performing engineering team responsible for building and scaling modern, cloud-native platforms using an AI-accelerated, agentic delivery model. Acting as a player-coach, this individual will balance people leadership with hands-on technical oversight, driving quality, velocity, and innovation. The role partners closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful software solutions while shaping best-in-class AI-native development practices across the organization.

Day-to-Day:
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers across experience levels Conduct 1:1s, provide feedback, and support career development Own sprint commitments and delivery timelines within an agentic pod model Partner with Product and stakeholders on planning, prioritization, and execution Remove blockers and manage dependencies to keep delivery on track Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical planning Ensure adherence to engineering standards, CI/CD best practices, and code quality Track and analyze engineering metrics (velocity, pipeline health, incidents, defects) Identify technical debt and champion sustainable engineering practices Communicate engineering health, tradeoffs, and delivery status to leadership We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
