Automotive Manufacturing | AI/ML | Computer Vision Position Overview The Advanced Industrial Technology organization is undertaking a strategic initiative to build a scalable, enterprise-grade AI/ML ecosystem using Sight & Sense AI to transform raw factory data into actionable manufacturing intelligence. This platform leverages computer vision, anomaly detection, and parametric data analysis to improve quality and operational efficiency across global manufacturing operations. We are seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams responsible for developing, deploying, and scaling AI-powered manufacturing solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and grow software engineering teams developing AI/ML products. Own the software development lifecycle for Sight & Sense AI solutions.

Define architecture strategy across:

Computer Vision Machine Learning MLOps Edge Computing Cloud Platforms Drive engineering best practices, CI/CD, testing automation, and operational excellence. Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists, Architects, and Manufacturing stakeholders. Champion Agentic AI and AI-assisted engineering workflows. Support deployment and validation activities at manufacturing facilities. Establish scalable platform strategies that enable "build once, deploy everywhere." Drive technical roadmaps and long-term platform strategy. Ensure delivery of reliable, secure, and maintainable software solutions. Required Qualifications Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Software Engineering, or related discipline. 5+ years of software engineering experience. 3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams. Experience leading AI/ML, Computer Vision, or Data Engineering initiatives. Deep understanding of the ML lifecycle including: Data Engineering Model Training Model Deployment Monitoring MLOps Experience leading Agile software development teams. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Master''s Degree in Computer Vision, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related field. Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Experience scaling AI/ML products from pilot programs to enterprise-wide deployments. Experience with Industrial IoT, Manufacturing Systems, or Edge Computing. Automotive or Manufacturing industry experience. Success Metrics Increased engineering team engagement and productivity. Reduced time from model development to production deployment. Reliable and scalable AI solutions deployed across manufacturing plants. Improved defect detection and manufacturing quality outcomes.
