Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop software engineers and related team members through regular one-on-ones, performance feedback, onboarding, mentoring, and career development support. Manage sprint execution, project delivery, and development priorities to ensure work is completed on time while maintaining quality, accountability, and alignment with business needs. Stay actively involved in technical work, including code review, debugging, testing, system enhancements, architecture discussions, and application design decisions. Partner with IT leadership, product teams, design, vendors, and business stakeholders to define requirements, evaluate feasibility, communicate risks, and align technology efforts with organizational goals. Oversee application releases, deployments, production support, incident response, documentation, and ongoing improvements to system stability, security, scalability, and maintainability. Evaluate tools, frameworks, vendors, and process improvements that can strengthen software quality, team efficiency, and long-term platform performance.
Requirements:
10+ years of software development experience, including at least 3 years in a technical leadership or people management role overseeing developers or software teams. Strong hands-on background developing web or client/server applications using Microsoft technologies, with C# experience required and Angular or TypeScript experience preferred. Experience working with relational databases, document databases, cloud platforms such as
AWS, CI/CD
pipelines, and modern infrastructure or deployment practices. Ability to guide technical design decisions, support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and promote scalable, secure, maintainable software solutions. Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
