Onsite Project Overview We are supporting a large-scale airport technology environment that requires skilled IT professionals to support, maintain, and enhance critical systems across multiple airport facilities. These long-term contract roles operate within a complex, mission-critical infrastructure supporting airport operations, security, communications, and end-user services. Successful candidates will contribute to the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of enterprise IT systems in a fast-paced operational environment. Responsibilities Lead and manage software engineering teams responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications supporting airport operations Define and enforce software engineering standards, coding guidelines, and architectural best practices to ensure high-quality and scalable solutions Oversee end-to-end software delivery including planning, development, testing, release management, and production deployment Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and infrastructure teams to align technical solutions with operational requirements Guide system design and architecture decisions to ensure performance, security, and long-term maintainability of applications Manage team performance, mentoring, and technical development to build a strong engineering capability within the organization Requirements 8-10 years of experience in software development or software engineering roles At least 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership or engineering management role Strong experience in designing and delivering enterprise-scale software solutions Solid understanding of software architecture, development standards, and SDLC processes Experience working with cross-functional teams in Agile environments Proven ability to manage engineering teams and drive successful project delivery Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
