Field Sales Intelligence Sr Mgr Software Engineering What you will do: In this role, you will own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and delivery of field intelligence capabilities that enable Amgen's sales organization to make data-driven decisions. You will serve as the Product Owner for solutions across CRM, analytics, and AI-enabled intelligence platforms, partnering with business, data, design, and engineering leaders to deliver scalable, high-value capabilities for field users. You will also contribute directly to software solution development, UI/UX strategy, and AI-driven product innovation to ensure solutions are intuitive, scalable, and aligned to enterprise priorities. This role will focus on transforming field activity, performance, and customer engagement data into trusted intelligence through advanced analytics and AI-driven insights that improve field effectiveness, productivity, and execution. This is a highly technical product leadership role with accountability for software engineering, data and analytics, UI/UX, design thinking, AI enablement, and platform scalability. Responsibilities
  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for field intelligence capabilities aligned to business priorities, field outcomes, and AI-powered decision support.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery of field intelligence solutions across CRM, analytics, data, and AI-enabled platforms, while contributing hands-on to solution design, development, and implementation.
  • Translate business priorities into a clear, outcome-based backlog of features, user stories, and technical, UX, and AI requirements.
  • Partner with field leadership, sales operations, analytics, data science, engineering, and design teams to identify opportunities and deliver user-centered, scalable, and intelligent solutions.
  • Drive the design and delivery of dashboards, alerts, predictive signals, and decision-support tools, while advancing UI/UX through design thinking, workflow optimization, and intuitive experience design.
  • Collaborate with engineering and data teams to define data models, KPIs, integrations, and technical requirements, and support development of scalable software and AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Ensure solutions deliver measurable value through strong adoption, usability, compliance, and performance, including AI transparency, trust, and effectiveness.
  • Provide leadership across PI planning, backlog refinement, sprint execution, testing, release planning, and hands-on support throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Drive AI-enabled capabilities such as predictive insights, intelligent recommendations, workflow automation, and guided user experiences.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of experience OR Master's degree and 4 years of experience OR Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience OR Associate's degree and 10 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 12 years of experience Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading delivery of analytics-enabled, digital, or AI-driven products in a Product Owner or Product Manager capacity.
  • Strong understanding of field sales processes, CRM platforms, and field performance measurement.
  • Experience working in agile environments using SAFe methodologies.
  • Technical fluency across software engineering, data engineering, analytics, and data science.
  • Experience with Salesforce platforms, enterprise analytics tools, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Hands-on experience contributing to software development, integrations, configuration, or enterprise application enhancements.
  • Experience with UI/UX, design thinking, and user-centered design for enterprise platforms.
  • Experience delivering AI-enabled capabilities such as predictive analytics, intelligent automation, or generative AI solutions.
  • Strong executive communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
