REQUIRED
Primary (Must-Have): ??10+ years of software engineering experience with enterprise-grade systems ??Strong proficiency in Python development and data analytics ??Proven experience designing and implementing AWS Cloud solutions ??Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform ??Solid database development skills using PL/SQL ??Proficiency with version control and CI/CD tools including Git and GitLab Secondary (Good to Have): ??Exposure to building, deploying, or managing AI/ML platforms and use cases ??Experience mentoring engineering teams and leading technical architecture discussions ??Ability to balance business value with technical feasibility for complex engineering initiatives
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to join our team in a hybrid capacity based out of Charlotte, NC. In this pivotal role, you will bridge complex AI solutions with high-impact business outcomes by designing scalable, secure, cloud-based architectures. As a technical leader, you will leverage your deep expertise in Python, AWS, and data analytics to drive innovation, mentor engineering talent, and lead execution on cutting-edge enterprise AI use cases.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
??Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-based solutions and architectures using AWS and enterprise AI platform capabilities ??Develop robust, clean, and efficient code in Python, alongside managing database logic and transformations using PL/SQL ??Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment pipelines utilizing Terraform, Git, and GitLab CI/CD workflows ??Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, ensuring code quality, security, and architectural alignment ??Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate business requirements, assessing technical feasibility and translating them into production-ready engineering roadmaps
