Job Description About the Role 3 days onsite - hybrid schedule (flexible) We are seeking a Software Development Director to lead global software R D teams within the Productivity Solutions Division. This role manages a distributed organization, including direct reports, an international supervisor, and offshore vendor teams. You will drive the delivery of software solutions for regulated life sciences applications, ensuring quality, compliance, and alignment with business priorities. Key Responsibilities Lead global teams, including direct reports, managers, offshore teams, and external vendors Oversee full software development lifecycle across multiple concurrent projects Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including
ISO 13485
(required) Drive Design Control processes, product lifecycle management, and quality outcomes Manage resources, budgets, and vendor relationships Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across software, genomics, and pathology domains Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical or scientific field 10+ years of product development experience (software and/or hardware) 7+ years of leadership experience managing global, distributed teams Strong background in software R D and delivery in regulated environments Direct experience with ISO 13485 and medical device quality systems (required) Domain knowledge in genomics, pathology, or life sciences preferred Experience managing offshore teams, contractors, and vendors Key Skills Proven leadership of global, multi-layered teams (including managers and vendors) Strong program management across multiple projects Ability to operate in regulated environments and drive compliance Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Focus on execution, quality, and continuous improvement Additional Details This job has a full time weekly schedule. The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $213,696.00 - $333,900.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
