Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in software development. 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python, Go). 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role. 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields. 10 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C, C++, Python, Go). 10 years of experience with data structures and algorithms. 5 years of experience in Kubernetes. Experience with operating, triaging and automating Kubernetes workloads. Experience in working with data center rack hardware (e.g., servers, storage, Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), switches, etc.). The US base salary range for this full-time position is $207,000-$300,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities Design, guide and vet systems designs within the scope of the broader area, and write product or system development code to solve ambiguous problems. Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency). Design and develop software systems and tooling to enable customers in an air-gapped environment to manage their private cloud infrastructure efficiently. Lead a team and execute multiple projects (e.g., refining requirements, technical design, task breakdown, deployment, monitoring, reporting).
