Job Description
Work Locations -
Birmingham AL, Charlotte NC, Atlanta GARequired Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
Required Experience/Skills:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, Test Automation, and Application Testing, preferably within enterprise environments
- Senior-level experience in Quality Engineering for Mobile Applications, including both iOS and Android platforms
- Strong expertise in test automation frameworks and strategies with a deep understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Agile development methodologies
- Hands-on experience with the following required tools and technologies: qTest, Sauce Labs, XCUI, Espresso, .NET API testing
- Strong experience in manual testing, automation testing, and performance engineering across mobile and API layers
- Solid understanding of software design patterns and their practical application in testing and automation frameworks.
- Lead and coordinate the work of Quality Engineering team members, assigning tasks and ensuring timely delivery of testing objectives
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test frameworks for mobile applications using XCUI Test and Espresso
- Manage and track test cases, defects, and test execution using qTest
- Execute automated tests in Sauce Labs to validate mobile applications across multiple devices and platforms
- Develop and maintain .NET API test automation to validate backend services and integrations
- Perform manual testing, exploratory testing, and performance testing to ensure high-quality application releases
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, product owners, and Scrum Masters to ensure quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle
- Review code and test automation implementations to ensure best practices, design patterns, and maintainability
- Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve existing test automation frameworks and testing processes
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and functional defects across mobile and API systems
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, contribute to sprint planning, and provide accurate effort estimation for testing activities
- Ensure proper documentation of test procedures, test results, and quality metrics
- Drive continuous improvement in test automation, performance engineering, and overall quality engineering practices
