Job Description Our client, a global industrial engineering and manufacturing company, is seeking a Software QA Engineer II to support both testing and troubleshooting efforts across software systems integrated with physical hardware platforms. This role is a hybrid between QA and support engineering, with a strong focus on investigating customer-reported issues, analyzing logs, and debugging system behavior. The QA Engineer II will split time between validating new features and diagnosing real-world system issues in collaboration with development and support teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and working in environments where software directly impacts physical equipment. - 4-7 years of experience in software QA or related technical role
- Experience debugging issues and analyzing logs
- Experience with Python or scripting for automation
- Ability to investigate and troubleshoot customer-reported issues
- Strong understanding of software testing principles
- Experience working cross-functionally with development and support teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exposure to hardware-integrated or device-based systems
- Experience in a hybrid QA/support or troubleshooting-heavy role
- Familiarity with test automation tools (any framework)
