QA Engineer BrainChip • Laguna Hills, CA • Hybrid About the Role This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to join a company redefining how artificial intelligence is built and deployed. BrainChip is the global leader in neuromorphic edge AI, pioneering a fundamentally new approach to computing inspired by the human brain. Its Akida platform processes only meaningful data at the point of acquisition, enabling real-time AI with dramatically lower power consumption, faster response times, and greater efficiency than traditional systems. We are hiring a QA Engineer to play a critical role in integration and validation across real-world systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that new features work end-to-end before reaching customers, operating at the intersection of product, engineering, and real-world deployment. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who wants to work on cutting-edge AI technology and see their work directly shape how products perform in the real world. What You'll Do Execute end-to-end integration and validation of new features across real customer workflows Install, configure, and test systems to ensure functionality works as expected Follow technical requirements to run and validate test cases with clear pass and fail outcomes Identify gaps or inconsistencies in instructions and partner with engineering teams to resolve them Act as a final quality checkpoint before products reach customers Troubleshoot issues across installation, configuration, and system behavior Work closely with Software, Hardware, and Pre-Sales Engineering teams Use tools such as VS Code, Jira, Linux environments, and FPGA toolchains like Xilinx Vivado What We're Looking For 3 to 7 years of experience in QA, Test Engineering, or Software Engineering Experience working with physical systems, embedded environments, or device-level testing Exposure to integration or system-level validation Comfortable working independently and executing against defined requirements Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Familiarity with VS Code, Jira, and Linux High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset What Will Set You Apart Experience with FPGA environments or tools like Xilinx Vivado Exposure to AI or machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch Background in semiconductor, embedded, or systems-focused companies Hands-on or hobbyist experience working with devices or boards Why BrainChip Pioneer in brain-inspired computing, mimicking how neurons process information for more efficient AI Technology that enables real-time intelligence directly on devices without relying on the cloud Platform designed to deliver ultra-low power AI with faster, more efficient processing across real-world applications Fast-growing company at the center of the shift toward edge AI and next-generation computing Eligibility Requirements Due to the nature of the work and applicable regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
