12 month contract with potential for extension or conversion Overview The Silicon Validation Engineer is responsible for executing, maintaining, and triaging silicon system regressions, and delivering clear, actionable results. Team Purpose Support upcoming silicon programs by executing validation and testing activities in a lab environment. Key Projects Contribute to new silicon validation efforts starting in early June, focusing on hands-on hardware testing as silicon becomes available. Key Responsibilities + Execute and maintain silicon system regressions + Analyze and report regression results with clear insights + Triage failures using debugging tools + Perform first-level failure analysis + Review and validate system updates from cross-functional teams
MUST HAVES
+ Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (will not be able to consider a non engineering degree) + 8-10 years of relevant experience + Strong ability to work independently with full ownership of test execution + Strong programming experience in Python, C, and C++ + Working knowledge of Verilog + Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills + High attention to detail
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS
+ Experience summarizing test results with meaningful insights + Hands-on silicon bring-up or hardware validation experience Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Mountain View, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $100.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
