Software Quality Assurance Senior Analyst

Job Summary We are seeking a Software Quality Assurance Sr. Analyst with strong experience in test automation, API testing, and quality engineering practices. This role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of applications through automated testing, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and continuous improvement of QA processes. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, BDD, and Cucumber Perform API testing and automation for SOAP and REST services Design and execute test cases for web and mobile applications Utilize service virtualization tools to simulate dependencies and improve testing efficiency Collaborate with development, business, and QA teams to ensure requirements are met Maintain test scripts and artifacts in tools such as Quality Center Participate in Agile processes and use tools such as JIRA for tracking and reporting Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Perform database validation using SQL queries Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and recommend improvements Ensure high-quality delivery through effective testing strategies and practices Support device testing and ensure application compatibility across platforms Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Java 5+ years of experience in test automation using Selenium, BDD, and Cucumber Strong experience in API testing and automation (SOAP and REST) Understanding of service virtualization concepts and tools 3+ years of experience with Agile tools such as JIRA 3+ years of experience with Quality Center 3+ years of experience with Jenkins 3+ years of experience with SQL Experience with device testing Ability to work with virtualization tools such as CA LISA Preferred Qualifications Experience in web application development and implementation Experience with web services (RESTful or SOAP) Experience leading projects and managing cross-technology integrations Ability to identify and implement process improvements in QA Experience acting as a liaison between technical and business teams Knowledge of financial services domain Understanding of web architecture, modern web applications, and mobile technologies Experience with technical documentation, design analysis, and test planning Ability to contribute to system design, scalability, and integration discussions
