The Opportunity:
Our contract provides mission assurance and situational awareness for our space launch customers and mission partners. In the Software Test Engineer role, you'll be working with a dedicated group of talented engineers and will be testing applications of a complex nature. The ideal candidate will enjoy a challenge, be a fast-learner, and enjoys working both independently and as a part of a larger team.
Responsibilities:
Define and execute test plans and procedures for testing complex applications Contribute to the development of standard processes for testing across the software teams Provide detailed and comprehensive test result feedback to software developers to ensure software reliability for our customers Plan, coordinate, and execute integrated tests in a multi-functional environment Work with developers to implement automated test tools that enhance efficiency by eliminating manual steps Provide launch and rehearsal display system operational support at control centers located at either Cape Canaveral Space Force Station or Vandenberg Space Force Station during countdown and flight operations.
Qualifications:
1-3 years related work experience - Proven track record with development of test plans/procedures Proficiency with scripting or programming languages used for test automation Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Ability to troubleshoot, track and communicate discrepancies in coordination with developers Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining TS/SCI clearance with Poly. Cleared candidates desired, but not required to start
Desired:
Experience with Atlassian products including JIRA, Confluence, and XRay Agile/Scrum Experience Experience with Git for configuration management Ability to trace problems to their root cause

Pay Range :
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
