Position Responsibilities:
Lead Quality Assurance (QA) team in developing automation test frameworks and carry out testing of Connectivity (WIFI, BT) functionalities on Amazon devices, including FTV sticks and Echo speakers. Lead the testing of large‐scale systems, create test plans, test cases, and drive continuous improvements to the quality assurance processes using Internet and Web technologies including Apache, HTTP, XML, HTML, Load Balancing, and DNS. Develop tests using Python, Java and Shell Scripts in a Linux environment, documenting and coordinating the deployment of manual and automated tests for complex systems, and testing mobile device development kits and device frame works. Design and build automated test cases for mobile device based graphical user interface using test automation frameworks such as Appium, VNC Robot and Java. Design, develop, and execute quality assurance test cases and support tests for large‐scale, distributed software systems using Java including white and black box tests. Consult with and advise project management and development teams on technical issues related to planning, developing, implementing, and modifying testing procedures. Uue functional specifications to plan, create, or sign‐off on test plans, test cases, and automated test cases. Provide regular, detailed status report on project progress, including test cases executed, bugs discovered, and bugs fixed. Hire and develop a multidisciplinary or organization of software developers in test and quality assurance engineers. 40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm,
Salary Range:
$201,053/year to $228,100/year. Amazon is a total compensation company. Basic Qualifications Position Requirements:
Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master's degree and one year of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): (1) human capital management, including interviewing and hiring; (2) developing tests for large-scale software systems using Python, Java and Shell Scripts in a Linux environment; (3) performing UI testing, manual testing, automation testing, software testing, and device testing; (4) utilizing agile software development methodologies; (5) designing and building automated test cases for mobile device based graphical user interface using test automation frameworks including Appium, Python, and Java; and (6) connectivity knowledge and experience in
WIFI, BT
