QA Engineer-W2only

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing . Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, or similar technologies. Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to identify testing scope and quality risks. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure product quality and timely delivery. Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or Bugzilla . Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, Rest Assured , etc. Validate backend systems through database testing using SQL queries. Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies , including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming. Ensure compliance with QA best practices, test standards, and quality processes . Perform performance, compatibility, and cross-browser testing where applicable. Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to process improvements and quality initiatives.
