is looking for our next Quality Assurance/Compliance Specialist II!!! As a Quality Assurance/Compliance Specialist II on the NISSC 3 program, you will develop, execute, and continuously improve the quality assurance (QA) program supporting logistics, inventory, supply chain, and incremental sustainment activities. You will drive audit planning and execution, track corrective actions, and ensure nonconformances are documented and resolved in accordance with applicable standards and contracts. You will help ensure compliance with AS9100D, FAR, contract, and regulatory requirements, while providing quality metrics, reports, and continuous improvement recommendations to management and stakeholder Responsibilities
  • Develop, execute, and refine quality assurance programs spanning logistics, inventory, supply chain, and sustainment activities.
  • Establish, plan, and conduct internal audits and assessments to verify compliance with AS9100D, FAR, contract requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Monitor quality milestones and performance metrics; identify trends and areas for corrective or preventive action.
  • Track and document corrective actions, process improvements, and nonconformance reports; follow through to closure.
  • Maintain inspection records, audit reports, process documentation, and QA artifacts in accordance with program and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and submit quality and quality-control reports, dashboards, and metrics to management and customer stakeholders.
  • Ensure processes and products meet contractual and regulatory quality requirements, and support readiness for external audits and inspections.
  • Collaborate with logistics, supply chain, engineering, and program management teams to integrate quality into day-to-day operations.
  • Provide continuous improvement recommendations and support implementation of process changes to enhance quality and compliance.
  • Address stakeholder concerns related to quality, nonconformance, and process adherence in a timely and professional manner Qualifications
  • 4-6 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or quality/compliance roles, preferably in DoD, aerospace, logistics, or complex technical environments.
  • Experience developing and executing quality assurance programs, including inspection, auditing, and nonconformance management.
  • Hands-on experience conducting audits, tracking corrective actions, and maintaining thorough QA documentation.
  • Experience preparing and submitting quality/control reports and metrics to management and/or customers.
  • Bachelor's degree in one of the following (or closely related field): Information Technology (IT) / Cybersecurity / Computer Science (CS) / Information Systems (IS) / Data Science / Software Engineering / OR equivalent DoD/Military training and experience in quality assurance, logistics/supply chain, or related field
  • Active Secret clearance at time of hire. Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI as required by the program.
  • One or more of the following certs strongly preferred:

PAY TRANSPARENCY STATEMENT AMERICAN SYSTEMS
is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $80,000.00/Yr.
  • USD $115,000.
00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
