, Inc. is an aerospace parts manufacturer who manufactures and distributes spares to The DoD and foreign Governments around the world. We are seeking an experienced, hands on Quality Assurance Inspector to continue handling our AS9100D certified QMS. Familiarity in the manufacturing industry and experience with turned and milled parts is essential. Reporting directly to the General Manager and Quality Manager, the position requires experience with all aspects of the Quality Management System.
Essential Functions:
  • Continual management of our quality system in accordance with AS9100 Rev.
D and
ISO 9001.
  • Preparation and participation in customer and third party audits.
  • Conducting internal audits.
  • Document control and Supplier Evaluation
  • NCMR and CPAR control.
  • Oversee and conduct calibration on measuring equipment.
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers
  • Perform in process and final inspections as required.
  • Perform First Article Inspections and Production Lot Testing.
  • Direct work with Government Quality Assurance Representatives.
  • Train new employee on SOP's and Work Instructions
  • Maintain a safe work environment and good housekeeping practices Required experience:
  • Previous QC and QA experience in the aerospace industry
  • Manufacturing experience in the use of quality measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, bore gauges).
  • Proficient working with Standard Operating Procedures and Work instructions
  • Working knowledge of basic math, basic statistics, and SPC
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, inspection plans, engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
