Job Description

Required Education
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field requiredRequired Experience/Skills
  • 3+ years of software testing or QA experience
  • Experience with manual and/or automated testing, test case development, and defect tracking
  • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Experience participating in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, and Retrospectives
  • Familiarity with Jira, JAMA, and other testing/management tools
  • Knowledge of C++ and Python
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
  • Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, and OutlookPreferred Experience/Skills
  • Knowledge of medical device/software regulatory standards including 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and
IEC 62304
preferred
  • Experience in regulated industries or software verification/validation environments preferredJob Duties
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure software quality and successful application changes
  • Review user stories and software requirements to ensure they are clear and testable
  • Create and execute manual and/or automated test cases, test plans, and test strategies
  • Perform software verification and validation activities to ensure functionality, usability, performance, and reliability
  • Document, track, and verify software defects using designated tools
  • Participate in Agile meetings including Scrum, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Backlog Grooming
  • Support test planning, risk analysis, and compliance with development and regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate testing documentation and reports
  • May assist in training or mentoring less experienced team members
