Name Eglin AFB Position Summary Evergreen (Pipeline) Requisition This requisition is used to build a pipeline of qualified candidates for future opportunities. While there may not be an immediate opening, candidates will be considered as positions become available based on their qualifications and program needs. Odyssey is seeking experienced Test and Evaluation Specialists to join our talent community for anticipated opportunities supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Armament Directorate and other Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs. Our Test and Evaluation Specialists support the government with planning, developing, and executing test and evaluation activities for weapons systems and associated equipment across the acquisition lifecycle. They assess system performance, verify requirements, and ensure systems meet operational effectiveness, suitability, and survivability requirements through developmental and operational testing. Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to: Support test and evaluation activities across all phases of the DoD acquisition lifecycle (Materiel Solution Analysis through Operations & Support)
Develop, review, and coordinate Test and Evaluation documentation, including:
Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP)
Test Plans, Test Reports, and Evaluation Reports
Requirements Verification Matrices (RVM)
Plan and support developmental test (DT) and operational test (OT) activities
Coordinate with engineering, program management, and operational stakeholders to ensure test objectives align with program requirements
Support test event planning, execution, data collection, and analysis
Evaluate system performance against requirements, including effectiveness, suitability, and survivability
Identify test risks and develop mitigation strategies
Support test readiness reviews and milestone reviews
Analyze test data and provide recommendations to improve system performance and program outcomes
Prepare and deliver test reports, briefings, and decision support materials to leadership Qualifications Citizenship Must be a U.S. citizen Minimum Required Qualifications Clearance:
Secret Education and experience: Journeyman:
Associate's degree and 10 years of relevant experience;
OR Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 7 years of relevant experience
Senior:
Associate's degree and 20 years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 15 years of relevant experience
Experience supporting test and evaluation activities within DoD acquisition programs
Experience supporting developmental and/or operational test events Preferred Qualifications Clearance:
Top Secret (TS) or TS/SCI Certifications:
DAWIA Level II or III in Test and Evaluation or equivalent Experience:
Experience supporting AFLCMC or other Air Force acquisition organizations
Experience with armament systems (air-to-air, air-to-surface munitions, missiles, or related systems)
Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs
Strong knowledge of DoD test and evaluation processes and DoDI 5000 series
Experience developing and reviewing TEMP and other test documentation Technical Skills Test planning, execution, and analysis (DT/OT)
Requirements verification and validation
Test data collection and analysis
Familiarity with test tools, instrumentation, and data systems
Risk management and mitigation planning
Understanding of system performance evaluation and reporting Interpersonal Skills Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to coordinate across engineering, program management, and operational stakeholders
