Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Building Automation Installer and become a vital part of creating intelligent, efficient, and sustainable building environments. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining advanced building automation systems that optimize energy use, enhance safety, and improve occupant comfort. Your expertise will help transform complex technical concepts into seamless operational solutions, ensuring buildings operate at peak performance. Responsibilities Install and wire building automation systems, including sensors, controllers, and field devices in commercial or industrial settings Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to ensure precise installation of electrical and mechanical components Configure programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), and vision inspection systems to meet project specifications Perform calibration and testing of sensors, calibration devices, and control equipment to guarantee accurate operation Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and calibration instruments to resolve system issues efficiently Collaborate with engineers and technicians to integrate systems like Calypso, AutoCAD drawings, CNC machinery, and high-voltage equipment into existing infrastructure Provide field service support for system commissioning, maintenance, repairs, and customer training to ensure optimal system performance Maintain detailed documentation of installation processes, system configurations, schematics updates, and service reports for quality assurance Skills Strong knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, and industrial maintenance practices Proven electrical experience with low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) systems in industrial environments Hands-on experience with E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation), sensors, calibration techniques, and vision inspection systems Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), AutoCAD for system design or modifications Ability to read complex schematics accurately using precision measuring instruments such as ohmmeters and multimeters Experience working with automation equipment is a plus Knowledge of military standards or experience working in military or defense-related projects is advantageous Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients and team members Skilled in troubleshooting electrical issues using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters or multimeters.
