SDET engineer

Akkodis is seeking a SDET engineer for a Contract with a client in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable, high‑quality automation frameworks and ensuring robust functional and regression coverage .

Rate Range:

$41/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

SDET engineer Job Responsibilities include:

Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable automation frameworks for functional and regression testing. Develop high‑quality automation scripts using Java, Selenium, TestNG, and ensure maximum test coverage. Execute and manage automated tests across UI, API (Postman/RestAssured), and database layers. Collaborate closely with agile scrum teams to validate requirements, identify defects, and support continuous delivery. Perform debugging, defect triage, and root‑cause analysis to improve overall product quality. Create and maintain test documentation including test plans, strategies, and post‑test reports.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field. 6-8 years of hands‑on experience as a QA Engineer / SDET in an enterprise agile environment. Strong expertise in Java‑based test automation using Selenium, TestNG, and automation frameworks (Page Object Model, design patterns). Pay Details:
