ROP) is seeking a QA Engineer (AI Enabled Testing) to join our team, hybrid in Atlanta, GA.
POSITION SUMMARY
The QA Engineer, AI-Enabled Testing will own test strategy and automation across IntelliTrans' web and mobile applications, using AI assistants as hands-on engineering partners to accelerate coverage, close gaps, and raise the quality bar. This role sits within the Engineering team and works closely with product, development, and DevOps to embed quality throughout the delivery lifecycle. The ideal candidate treats AI tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and ChatGPT as daily instruments in their QA practice, not occasional experiments. This position requires a blend of strong automation skills, sharp test architecture instincts, and the judgment to know when to trust AI output and when to override it. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following . Other duties may be assigned. Design and maintain test architecture for web, mobile, and API surfaces, using AI assistants to scaffold frameworks, generate test cases, and surface edge cases that manual planning misses Build and extend automation suites in Playwright, Maestro, Espresso, and Appium; keep them green and integrated into CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions Own coverage strategy by cross-validating assumptions across multiple AI models, identifying regression risks, and prioritizing testing effort where it matters most Run defect pattern analysis by feeding release histories, defect logs, and test results into AI tools, turning data into actionable quality insight Integrate AI into everyday QA workflows: test case generation, coverage gap identification, sprint-level quality forecasting, and release risk analysis Build and maintain CI tooling that automatically detects new builds, provisions test environments, and triggers the right test suites without manual intervention Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering to shift quality left, contributing to ticket decomposition, requirements review, and implementation planning Mentor and enable teammates by creating AI-generated templates, framework documentation, and coverage maps that help the team ramp quickly Support QA engineer onboarding with structured documentation, testing standards, and coverage baselines Validate
REST API
contracts via Postman or code-based testing; use SQL for data integrity checks Coordinate go/no-go readiness with engineering and production teams for platform releases
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering, or related, from a four-year college or university; or 8+ years of equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
Experience:
Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on software QA experience across web and mobile platforms
Skills/Technical:
Demonstrated, daily use of AI coding assistants (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar) applied to real QA work, not just experimentation Strong automation skills in at least two of: Playwright, Maestro, Espresso (Kotlin), Appium, or XCUITest Experience designing CI/CD-integrated test pipelines with GitHub Actions or equivalent Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript; working knowledge of Kotlin and Python Solid understanding of
REST API
testing (Postman or code-based) and SQL for data validation Familiarity with tools such as Jira, TestRail, BrowserStack, Sentry, and Charles Proxy Ability to work independently, maintain coverage under lean conditions, and communicate quality status clearly Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain software desired Track record of building QA programs from the ground up or inheriting and scaling existing ones desired Mobile app QA for high-traffic or mission-critical consumer products desired Exposure to Flutter testing or cross-platform mobile frameworks desired Experience with AI-accelerated development tools (Anthropic Claude Code, Microsoft Copilot) desired Familiarity with Firebase App Distribution and mobile build distribution workflows desired
