The Role Advanced Network Devices (ANetD) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Test Engineering Technician to join our growing team in Arlington Heights, IL. In this role, you will collaborate with talented engineers and developers across multiple disciplines while gaining hands-on experience with advanced technologies and network-based products. This full-time position is ideal for someone who is passionate about technology and innovation, thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and enjoys problem-solving and continuous learning. You'll play a key role in product testing, documentation, and quality assurance efforts while helping support the successful release of hardware and software products. Key Responsibilities As part of the ANetD team, you will be responsible for the following aspects of
Test Engineering:
Learn and understand the technical capabilities of ANetD's product portfolio to become proficient with the product line Perform testing and validation of network-based products and software applications Organize and maintain release notes for firmware and software application updates Maintain and update test plans and product reference documentation Modify and update Python-based test scripts to support new products and features Participate in weekly meetings to review testing progress and coordinate testing efforts to meet project deadlines Collaborate with engineering and development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and document issues Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Highly organized with strong multitasking skills Excellent attention to detail Working knowledge of Python programming Ability to work within a structured, process-driven environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications Preferred (Not Required) Experience using Wireshark Knowledge of computer networking concepts Familiarity with VoIP/SIP technologies Experience with HTML, PHP, or XML Exposure to audio/video (A/V) products or systems Education Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
