Job Description

SW QA Engineer Research & Development Rehovot, IL (Nova HQ) Role Description Nova seeks a SW QA Engineer to join our R D organization and play a key role in ensuring the quality of our advanced software solutions. In this role, you will become an integral part of an Agile team, contributing to the development and release of Nova's multidisciplinary systems. You will work closely with R D, system, and product teams, driving quality across the software lifecycle and supporting product validation, including Beta testing at customer sites worldwide. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on complex systems combining software, hardware, and advanced technologies in the semiconductor industry. Responsibilities Act as a QA engineer within an Agile development team Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from design to release Define and implement testing strategies and plans for Nova software systems Perform manual testing to validate system functionality and performance Develop, execute, and maintain regression tests Identify risks in software development and ensure high-quality standards Investigate failures, perform root cause analysis, and define corrective actions Plan, coordinate, and execute Beta testing activities at customer sites (abroad) Develop deep system understanding to support continuous improvement Requirements B.Sc. in Engineering or Exact Sciences - mandatory 3+ years of experience as a manual QA Engineer, including writing test plans Experience testing servers and databases Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Ability to understand and investigate complex multidisciplinary systems Ability to travel abroad
