As a Research Coordinator, Sensor Intelligence (Temporary) at WHOOP, you will be a critical member of the development teams that drive innovation. You will be tasked with running internal and external testing. This is a 3-month, temporary position with an hourly pay rate of 30 dollars per hour.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the distribution of test hardware, ensuring devices are delivered to the appropriate teams accurately and on schedule. Maintain and organize test hardware inventory, including tracking inventory levels, locations, and device status. Execute hardware and sensor validation tests by partnering with the Hardware and Sensor Intelligence teams and following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Develop, document, and continuously improve standardized testing workflows in collaboration with the Hardware team to ensure reliable and repeatable test execution. Monitor testing progress and proactively identify, communicate, and escalate issues, risks, or roadblocks to the Hardware and Sensor Intelligence teams. Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Logistics teams to coordinate resources, align priorities, and ensure testing objectives are achieved. Ensure test hardware is properly configured, maintained, and available to support ongoing development and validation efforts. Maintain accurate records of testing activities, hardware utilization, and inventory movements to support operational efficiency and traceability.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree preferred, with experience managing inventory, stockrooms, laboratory equipment, or hardware assets in a structured operational environment. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities and requirements. Familiarity with Python and basic scripting or coding environments for test execution, automation, or data analysis. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams. Ability to follow detailed procedures while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and quality. Experience working with hardware, testing operations, logistics, or engineering teams is a plus.
