Functional Testing Lead - AMI (Utility Domain)

Waltham, MA (Onsite)
Duration:
Long Term Contract Role Summary Looking for a Functional Testing Lead with strong experience in AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) and large-scale utility system integrations. The role involves leading end-to-end testing across multiple utility platforms. Required Skills 10+ years of functional testing experience Strong AMI domain experience (metering, MDM, head-end systems) Experience with utility integrations (CIS, OMS, DMS/SCADA, Billing) Experience in E2E, system, integration, and UAT testing Strong SQL and API testing knowledge (e.g., Mule) Hands-on experience with Jira or similar tools Experience managing defect lifecycle and test execution Responsibilities Lead end-to-end functional testing for AMI programs Define and execute test strategy, plans, and scenarios Manage integration testing across utility systems Handle defect tracking, triage, and reporting Coordinate with business, vendors, and technical teams Ensure test readiness and support UAT cycles
