Local to DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) — onsite availability preferred
Rate:
Keep it as low as possible. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Marriott Loyalty platform features Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across loyalty program workflows Validate points accrual, redemption, tier management, member benefits, and partner integrations Identify, document, and track defects through the full bug lifecycle using tools like JIRA or similar Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and acceptance criteria Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives Ensure quality standards are met across web, mobile, and API touchpoints Support UAT coordination with business stakeholders Contribute to automation testing efforts where applicable Required Skills & Experience 4+ years of QA experience in software testing Hands-on experience with Marriott Loyalty systems — points engine, member portal, rewards platform, or related loyalty program modules Strong knowledge of loyalty program business logic — accrual rules, tier qualification, redemption workflows Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar) Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr, qTest, or similar) Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and documentation skills Nice to Have Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or similar) Familiarity with Marriott Bonvoy platform or hospitality loyalty ecosystem Knowledge of partner integration testing (airlines, credit cards, retail partners) Experience with performance or load testing tools Prior experience in hospitality or travel technology domain
