Active DoD Secret Clearance Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst / Automation Specialist to support the Federal Government in federal financial reporting, data analytics, and process automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing data-driven solutions, improving operational efficiency, and delivering actionable insights to support mission-critical programs. This position requires strong analytical skills, foundational programming expertise, and the ability to work within secure federal environments. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement data analytics solutions tailored to diverse Air Force systems and programs Automate data processing workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort Analyze financial and operational data to support federal reporting requirements Develop a strong understanding of client environments, systems, and operational workflows Align analytics deliverables with mission objectives and program goals Prepare and present clear, concise, and actionable reports to senior leadership Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with federal standards Required Qualifications Active DoD Secret Clearance (mandatory) Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field 2+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or automation Strong foundational knowledge of Python for data analysis and scripting Experience in designing and implementing data analytics work products Ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights for stakeholders Strong communication skills with experience presenting to leadership Preferred Qualifications Experience working with U.S. Air Force or Department of Defense datasets Working knowledge of Databricks Hands-on experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing Exposure to federal financial systems and reporting frameworks
